The Entertainment Visa (420) enables businesses to sponsor people to work temporarily in Australia in the entertainment industry as a performer or production staff. If your business would like to sponsor someone for the Entertainment Visa (420), it will first need to be approved as an Entertainment Visa sponsor.
What’s the process? | Entertainment Sponsor Australia
To gain approval as a sponsor, your business will need to demonstrate that it is:
- Either an Australian organisation that is considered lawfully established and operating in Australia (such as a business, a body corporate or an unincorporated body rather than an individual or a sole trader), an agency of the Australian state or federal government, a foreign government agency operating in Australia
- Has a good business record and abides by Australian laws
- Able to comply with sponsorship obligations
If approved, your Entertainment Sponsorship will last for a validity period of up to three years.
