She manages the migration requirements for many of our business clients – from owner-operated businesses to multinational clients in the resource and IT industries. Elain regularly assists HR professionals and business owners with strategic migration advice to engage skilled overseas professionals for project or ongoing labour requirements. She advises employers on the sponsorship and nomination process as well as the business impacts of Australia’s changing migration laws.
More About Elain
With experience in the migration industry since 2010, Elain began her career in the not-for-profit sector before joining the Interstaff team.
Throughout her career, she has assisted numerous individuals to successfully obtain a visa to work and live in Australia through Australia’s employer sponsored visa schemes and the General Skilled Migration program.
Elain works very closely with Human Resources teams, business owners, and skilled individuals with their global mobility requirements.
Elain also assists businesses with transitioning eligible temporary visa holders to permanent residence and assists business employees with the process to migrate their partner and family members.
Accreditation and Professional Registration
Elain is registered with the Office of Migration Agents Registration Authority as a migration agent and practices under a strict Code of Conduct, which governs the migration industry in Australia. MARN: 1465616.
As a Migration Institute of Australia (MIA) member, Elain also practices according to the MIA Code of Ethics, Practice and Conduct, which is designed to maintain the highest standards of professionalism across the migration industry.
Education and Qualifications
Elain holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics, Politics & International Relations from the University College of Dublin (2007). She also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice from Murdoch University (2014).
Elain maintains her knowledge of migration law changes through CPD programs with the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA). She also has a keen interest in the political and economic impact of labour migration and is an avid reader of academic journals and research papers on the topic.
