Interstaff is pleased to welcome our new Registered Migration Agent to the team, Melissa Phan (MARN: 1808239). As part of our Registered Migration Agent team, Melissa advises clients on migration solutions for businesses and individuals according to current migration legislation and manages all aspects of the visa and/or sponsorship application process on our clients’ behalf.

Melissa has a background in commercial, family and migration law and holds a Bachelor of Law and Arts (Asian Studies) from the University of WA. Her work in the migration field has seen Melissa successfully appeal visa decisions by the Department of Home Affairs in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. She brings a wealth of knowledge of the Australian visa and appeals process and is an asset to the Interstaff team, which since 1988 has become known for assisting with complex cases such as visa appeals, refusals and cancellations.

Melissa is keen to develop her legal career in the migration field and is committed to devising solutions within Australia’s migration legislative framework to achieve the best outcome for her clients. Melissa finds it personally rewarding to assist clients to pursue a second chance to stay in Australia.

Melissa says, “Because visa applications are complex, the slightest mistake could result in a visa being denied.”
