Every night as many as 105,000 homeless men and women sleep out on Australia’s streets and wind-blown alleyways, without basic shelter from the cold and rain.
Sheila Woods, Interstaff International’s Managing Director, has committed to doing what she can to support homeless Australians by registering for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout.
Sheila said, “Many of us don’t realise how privileged we are to have a safe place we can call home.”
“As a migration agency, we meet a lot of people who can relate to wanting the stability of a new home to build a better life.”
“It would be great if through our business, we could raise money and awareness to help support homeless Australians” stated Sheila.
